Billing and Claims

22 Health is dedicated to providing timely and accurate claims processing for our network providers. Find key information and resources to assist you with billing, claim submission, and reimbursement.

Billing and Payment Processes

To ensure prompt payment, providers must submit clean claims within 180 days from the date of service or discharge.
A clean claim is one that contains complete, accurate, and required information and does not require additional investigation or correction by 22 Health.

  • Reimbursement: Payment is issued based on the agreed-upon rates and timelines.
  • Co-Payments: Providers are responsible for collecting applicable co-payments at the time of service.

Claim Submission Guidelines

Claims must be submitted within six (6) months of:

  1. The date of discharge for inpatient services or the date of service for outpatient services; and
  2. The date the provider was furnished with the correct name and address of the patient’s health plan.

Please note: Claims submitted after six months will be denied as untimely and are not eligible for reimbursement.

Check claim status electronically with our provider portal, PlanLink, or call 1-866-357-4082

  • Participating providers with login credentials for PlanLink, our Provider portal, can check claim status electronically by logging in at 22 Health Provider Portal

  • Providers that do not have PlanLink login credentials can check claim status
    • Electronically via Guest Claims found at 22 Health Provider Portal
      • Guest Claims link located under the blue Log In button
    • Call 22 Health at 1-866-357-4082
