We encourage all prescribers to:
Practice cost-effective prescribing
Follow evidence-based clinical guidelines
Submit prior authorizations (PA) requests promptly
Assist members in understanding the formulary and medication coverage

Formulary and Preferred Drug List
Prescribers can access the 22 Health Preferred Drug List (PDL) and the Drug Lookup Tool at the following links:

Drug Lookup Tool: Formulary Navigator
The PDL is updated quarterly—in January, April, July, and October.
Providers are required to check for updates during these months to ensure that prescribed medications align with the most current formulary.
Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM): MedImpact
MedImpact is the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) for 22 Health. MedImpact manages the formulary and conducts pharmacy prior authorization reviews on behalf of 22 Health.

Through the MedImpact Provider Portal, prescribers can:
Access member claims and benefit information
View out-of-pocket cost estimates
Submit and track prior authorizations (PA) electronically
